“The timing of the call from Dr. Jones could not have been more perfect. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to practice medicine in a way that provides quality care to our community. In my career, both through acute care and family practice, I have seen the harm we cause our patients when we don’t have honest discussions and give them all the information. Hospice is a place of healing and of restoring life in one of the most difficult seasons of our patients and their families. I am endlessly grateful to serve our community in this way and to carry on the legacy of a wonderful doctor, human, and mentor.”
