Circle of Care: Kelsey Soucy
“I was first introduced to hospice while working as a critical care nurse in a large COVID intensive care unit. It was an absolute honor and privilege to help patients and families find comfort during some of their hardest days in such extenuating circumstances. I knew one day I would want to continue my work in hospice, and I am so grateful to be part of such a compassionate and dedicated team!”
Kelsey was born and raised in a small town in Aroostook County and is proud to call northern Maine home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Husson University and began her nursing career at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she worked in the Intensive Care Unit. After returning to Maine, Kelsey joined the Cancer Care Center at Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing through the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and dog.
