The Aroostook Hospice Foundation held its 4th Annual Walk for Hospice on Saturday, September 19, at the Caribou High School Track & Trails, raising more than $75,000 for the Aroostook House of Comfort. 442 people from our community came together to raise funds, promote awareness, and celebrate the lives of those touched by hospice care.

A Day of Purpose and Connection

The 2026 Walk proudly featured Greenlaw Electric, LLC as our Event Sponsor and the Family of Dr. David Jones as our Memorial Dedication Sponsor, with generous support from Pineland Farms as our Matching Donor. In total, 80 sponsors and 14 in-kind donors supported this year's event, and 31 teams, 442 participants, and 40 volunteers joined family, friends, and colleagues for a beautiful day of reflection, hope, and healing.

The Walk for Hospice is about more than a single day or fundraising total. It raises funds for the Aroostook House of Comfort, promotes community awareness, and celebrates the lives of those impacted by hospice. Your generosity allows us to offer individuals and their families comfort, compassionate care, dignity, and support on their hospice journey. It truly takes all of us. We are deeply grateful to every donor, volunteer, sponsor, participant, team, and community partner who helped make the 4th Annual Walk for Hospice such a meaningful success.
