Circle of Care recognizes a staff member who is dedicated to helping individuals and families on their journey through hospice care.

The Aroostook Hospice Foundation, owner of the Aroostook House of Comfort, proudly celebrates its 6th anniversary on May 9th. Since opening its doors in 2018, the Aroostook House of Comfort has provided inpatient hospice care to over 900 individuals in over 67 Maine communities while supporting their families and caregiver teams.

In "April Grief Notes: Learning to Forgive," coping with death through forgiveness and practical steps like writing letters and seeking support. It emphasizes the significance of self-forgiveness and acknowledges the healing influence of time.

In a world brimming with clichés and familiar sayings, this article acknowledges their common use in describing various situations. It also highlights how, despite good intentions, these clichés can sometimes worsen discomfort, particularly in moments of grief.
