Nancy's dedication to the Aroostook House of Comfort and in-home hospice care is unwavering. Joining the Aroostook Hospice Foundation Board of Directors in 2021, she set forth two ambitious goals: to elevate the role of the specialty home in the eyes of patients and the Houlton community and to contribute her volunteer service to this invaluable community resource.

After a loved one's prolonged illness, relief at their passing is natural and often accompanied by guilt, but this relief shouldn't cause shame. Caregiving is intense, and feeling relief after it ends is normal and doesn't diminish the love or dedication given. Embrace this relief as part of healing and honor their memory while resuming your own life.
